DH-VOG.15.K1 > 1000 - 1500 Kg

The DH-VOG.15.K1 is specially designed for thegas bottle distribution sector, and enables operators to unload and load gasbottles with maximum safety. The package is based on many years of experience in theindustry. The guard rails along the open platform edges are
designed to securethe bottles while lifting / lowering. The hinged ramp at the center of theoutboard platform edge guarantees a smooth passage from the platform to theground (and back).

The DH-VOG is available with following platforms:

  • Standard: heavy-duty steel platform, in hot-dipzinc plated finish [OVU012.S]
  • Optional: air-permeable platform with steel grids[OVP509.G]
  • Optional: lightweight aluminum platform[OVU012.A.]

Main configurations:

  • Standard: manual opening and closing, supported by powerful torsion bars inside the platform.
  • Optional: hydraulic closure, maximizing the comfort and safety of the operator.

The K1 execution travels to vehicle floor height only. The K9 offers increased lifting height above the vehicle floor.

PLATFORM

  • Robust, heavy-duty steel platform in hot-dip zinc plated finish, or weight-saving aluminium platform (option)
  • Automatically folding guard rails on the L+R sides, and partially across the outboard platform edge (except the middle section where gas bottles are loaded and unloaded)
  • Central fold-over bar between the 2 rear guard rails available as an option [OVP311]
  • 1 hinged ramp [OVP120.S.M] between the 2 guard rails across the rear platform edge. The ramp can be raised as fall-protection, or laid open on the ground to serve as load ramp
  • Lateral fall-protection edges at the L+R platform sides, to prevent accidental slipping of the gas bottles off the side edges of the platform

The DH-VOG.15.K1 gas lift is specially designed for distributors working within the gas bottle delivery sector. Because of the nature of the cargo being loaded and off-loaded with the gas lift, the DH-VOG.15.K1 was designed with safety and reliability in mind coupled with many years of industry-specific experience. The tail lift comes pre-fitted with guard rails along the platform edges to secure the gas bottles during loading and unloading as well as a hinged ramp at the centre of the lift’s platform to ensure a smooth transition from the platform to both the truck cargo bed and the ground.

The DH-VOG.15.K1 features three options for loading platforms; these options include the standard heavy-duty steel platform with a zinc-plated finish, an air-permeable platform with Galva steel grids, or for customers looking for a lightweight solution you can opt for the aluminium platform. If you opt for the standard steel platform or the air-permeable platform with Galva steel grids, it is strongly recommended that you make use of the hydraulic closure system. The lightweight aluminium platforms can be used with both manual or hydraulic closure systems.

The DH-VOG.15.K1 lower beam is operated by a one lift cylinder that is mounted on the bottom of the vehicle in a beam alongside a set of chains and pulleys. The lift makes use of heavy-duty steel columns and lift frames, which as standard comes with a hot zinc dip for lasting protection. The gas lift platform is also equipped with a mechanical load safety device known as a chain rupture device to ensure the safety of workers and cargo if the lift system were to fail due to overloading. As an added option, the lift can lift past the 1st vehicle floor with options K9 or E9. As standard, the lift platform features a level ride and has a maximum cargo carrying capacity of 1500 kg.
