The DH-RC.15 is the medium-duty brother of the DH-RC.10 in the range of fold-away lifts, with a level ride between the truck’s floor and the ground with an automatic tilt function at the ground level. The DH-RC.15 features narrow arms that are bolted on between the chassis rails. Despite the narrow arm fitting, it offers phenomenal lateral stability and overall performance.
When you compare the DH-RC.15 to other fold-away truck lifts with a 1500 kg load capacity, you’ll find that the arm centre of the DH-Rp.15 is quite wide and makes use of two powerful 2 lift cylinders, however it only has a half dip ride; whereas the DH-RM.20 may be a heavier-duty model but weighs significantly more and has a larger price tag. The DH-RC.15, like other fold-away truck tail lifts, easily tucks away below the chassis of the truck when not in use, which offers unhindered access to the truck’s cargo area which allows for easy loading and off-loading in cargo areas or docks. This process is bolstered by the super lightweight full aluminium platform base section and foldable point and the powerful torsion springs that assist greatly in the quick folding and unfolding of the platform.
The DH-RC.15 was designed for trucks with a gross vehicle weight of up to 26 tonnes and has a maximum carry capacity of 1000-1500 kg. The bolt-on mounting plates and narrow arm width allow for hassle-free fitting and mounting between the truck’s chassis beam. It also features an integrated floor plate that allows for flush mounting, which is available to the buyer as an extra option.
The DH-RC.15 is fitted with low-maintenance bearings in all of its articulation points with grease nipples. The tail lift’s frame has protection plus a coating made from Zinc phosphate, KTL epoxy primer and a polyester powder top coat for lasting protection. The steel base has a KTL finish, and the aluminium platform has a natural finish.
