PTS pneumatic legs a far better alternative option to traditional landing legs for a number of reasons. They are safer because they eliminate the risk of upper limb strain or disorder by making use of a simple automated push button system. The support system is stronger: each leg has a static load rating of 25 tonnes per leg as standard. The pneumatic trailer support system takes 5 seconds to drop, making it faster than traditional hand devices, and as a result time and money is saved.

Injury Prevention through Design

The PTS50 Pneumatic Trailer Support System has been designed with all the usual problems considered and alleviated by skilled engineers using the latest CAD modelling and Finite Element Analysis. Operation is by push button control and fed from the trailer’s air system. There is no need for the support system to raise or lower the trailer as this can be done using the airbags on the modern tractor unit therefore making this a safe static support rather than raise/lower system.
